Had a very interesting 7 days.
Work had been insane with tight deadlines and as Thursday crawled up creepily, I gathered left-over energy and prepared myself for a full battle at 5.30pm, where I had to interview two important clients.
Clock was ticking and after W.I.P meeting in the morning, my strategist came to me and said ‘There’s a rush job for The Star. You need to write a travel article in approximately 2hours. Pronto. It’s probably nothing but your article will be published. You up for it?’
So I did. Well, it may, as he said, nothing but heck, at this point of time, any given opportunity, especially on travel writing, shall not be snubbed. Embrace the limelight while I still could. Heh.
Yesterday went hunting for storm and hurricane. Upon weighing the options, it seems like we’re gonna get the latter. Hurricane, after all, is the greatest storm on earth.
We decided to trade in and get a used pick-up for long-time usage. We did get a few great deals and instead of buying a new, local MPV, a great condition pick-up sounds more reliable on Malaysian roads, fits our need and budget. With Ford being the best-selling pick-up in the world, I have a feeling it’s gonna be a good buy. I’m telling you, the bullbar is the reason I fell in love with it. My kinda guy.

Now excuse me while I map out the route to the nearest off-road trip.
