Its just another day for lovey-dovey red and pink heart shaped balloons and roses to be commercialized vastly. If not for a friend who reminded me ‘eh, not celebrating ah?’ , I would completely forget about it. Suppose its because I am single?
But being single is cool. I cant think of any more reasons why, probably because its more of a state of being. I totally love having the freedom to do whatever I want to do, go wherever I want to go without having to answer to anyone. Relationship is so much of a hard work, can be suffocating at times.
Having to say that, I tried to make up a list inside my head yesterday. The perks of living on planet single:
I look after myself. I stand up for myself. – 100 cokie points.
I hang out with my best-friends after work instead of sulking at home with my teddie. - 50 cokie points
I do road trip on weekends. - 100 cokie points
I pose up/take photos on certain Sundays – 100 cokie points
I ngopi with my ngopi friends on certain nights till early a.m. – 100 cokie points
I eat sushi without guilty -50 cokie points
I hunt for dresses without having to worry if anyone likes it or not -50 cokie points
I have the license to super flirt with any guy I like -200 cokie points
Yay!
So, despite the fact that I can be totally clueless over V day, I had one of the nicest V time last night. I worked! A friend invited me over to help him with a Valentine’s dinner photo shoot down at his workplace. It’s a pretty interesting offer so off I went tailing him to RSGC in my black working suits. Oh, I totally love the decoration they made for the event! Simple but very sweet! We kicked start at about 7ish and finished up around midnight. Tiring but its totally fun as well. Elderly couples dancing the night away, cuddling and laughing with their friends, classically sweet. I had to suffer 5 hours weighing a heavy d80 with battery pack, flash and 80-200 AFD lense on my hand and shoulder but its all cool as I get to learn new tips and tricks. At least now I know I need bigger muscles to go on the golf course to shoot!

yeah, so true, too commercialized anyway, everyone wants their 5 seconds of fame, ie the billboard guy, love the list, think we can add some more, but no ideas as of yet
