Yesterday night was definitely fun! Thanks to my soon-to-be boss, Daniel who is more than kind enough to bring me to watch Pentas Ikon Malaysia in PICC. (hey, its not nice to say i'm mengampu here okay) But yea he was being such an all time sweetie by giving me a good front row seat while he sat at the back. (shall i repeat, its not nice to say i'm mengampu here). You people!
Was there with four of his clients and friends. Nice crowd with Daniel being the most jovial of all. The event wasnt that bad, with splendid performances by Reshmonu, Jac and grand piece by Datin Paduka Julie Sudiro. It was my first live tele-cast and without a doubt, it was an exciting exposure for me. The whole point of jumping right in when i was first offered with the VIP passes was to see if i could like the work that i'm going to do soon. I liked what i saw but its all still pretty much blurry. All i can say is that i'm looking forward for a change of air! Daniel had explained about the job scope and so far, i can sense its gonna be really interesting designing an event! As i said before, lets pray hard i'm gonna make it through the second interview comes Monday.
vvvvvvv21 (sorry this isnt me typing but my kittie bubu. And another kittie is trying to bite my lappy now grr)
Today at work, everything was a breeze. I even had enough time to go for lunch and bermalas-malasan in the evening eating kuey tiao sup a colleague bought me. I took my own sweet time at about 6.30 pm to drive to Subang. Met up with Eka and Fatini before heading off to Avenue K to attend Pecha Kucha where Muid gave a talk and showcased DMP's work. Aha, another mini gathering for all of us. Pretty much everyone was there, designers from DMP and Flickr-ians. Three of us geared up with cameras and the next thing i know everybody turned into camwhores! Okay, maybe two guys turned into gay-sha. I'm not mentioning anyone's name 'ere. Blame the beautiful black backdrop!
We went for a quick dinner afterwards, (aint complete without one, yo!) with the rest of the DMP team; Perez and Shieko joining in. Later, made a pit-stop at Eka's for a catch-up. He's practising Bahasa Malaysia by responding to me in malay..*lol* how cute! But yea, he need to practice harder for the hundred bucks hehe. Aussie accent wont count obviously!
I guess we all had a long day and we really need our sleep. So I bid him good bye and good night and here i am back at home and beginning to get sleepy and lazy to think of anything sweet to end this entry. Krooooh.
